It all began when Amber-Mae & Famous got together at the end of January 2009. The result is 7 incredible pups. This is their story.

About the Sire: FAMOUS (registered name: Mal Ch Leowon Lead the Team)

Famous is a tall, dark & handsome Golden Retriever from Rawang. Big-boned & big-pawed with a solid structure, his coat is a deep gold that flows to the floor. After winning his Malaysian Championship, he was retired from the showring to live the rest of his life as a fulltime stud. Taken at 2 weeks after birth

Amber-Mae needs no introduction. Big-boned for a female with a good head, deep chest & a majestic stance, both the adjectives 'handsome' & 'beautiful' describes her equally well. But Amber is known not just for her looks, it is also her brains that have caught the attention of the public far & wide.

Amber was brought up with love from the day she came to us at 10 weeks old. Throughout her upbringing, she was never caged but was always a part of our family in every way. She was always talked to & given lots of human touch & interaction.

Amber's 1st outing was to Ikano Power Center the day after she arrived, even before she finished her 3rd & final vaccination. From then on, introduction to the outside world, to grass & traffic & crowds was a daily affair.

Amber began Obedience training at MKA from the tender age of 12 weeks. She excelled so well in class that her trainer encouraged her to enter the Pre-Novice Level Obedience trial soon after, a level older dogs have difficulty mastering even after months of training.

Today having won trophies & awards in Obedience, Amber is at the Intermediate level & has mastered most of the commands in Open Class. However her level of understanding & communication is not limited to OB only. That is what makes her so unique. Amber is extremely talented & has a bag of tricks up her sleeve as she can pick up new commands & tricks in a matter of minutes. Even at the height of pregnancy recently, she could still perform all her tricks without the need of signals, just voice commands.

When Amber was 14 months old, she learned all about Canine Musical Freestyle(dog dancing) & won the Miss K9 Malaysia Award along with the Most Intelligent Award at the puppy.com event. Her story was carried in the national newspaper the New Straits Times which was then discovered by Rochelle Lesser the Founder of Land of Pure Gold Foundation in the US. Rochelle is a close friend of Carolyn Scott, the owner of Rookie, the internationally famous Golden Retriever known for his accelerating dance routine to Grease. That routine was what inspired us to perform Canine Freestyle. Amber has since performed many times in public from here to Penang & was chosen to "act" in an overseas commercial in 2007.

Because of her great athletic prowess, Amber has also excelled in Agility where she has bagged trophies, awards & titles. Amber is one of the two GRs doing Agility & she is one of the best. Amber is also good in Flyball & is still waiting for a team to compete.

But Amber's life is not just about winning. Her even temperament & quiet confidence has brought her to 'give back' in those in need. She has no problem mingling & providing therapy to the physically challenged, the less-fortunate & young children.

All this makes Amber-Mae the 'Dog for All Seasons' - Athlete, OB exponent, Dancer, Trick Performer, Therapy Provider, a Loving Pet, Full Fledged Family Member, and now...Mother of The Year.

But that is not all to the wonderful dog we call Amber-Mae. She has an excellent bloodline to boast of as well. Her ancestry is filled with American Champions while her grandfather is a Canadian & Thai Champion from the famous Gold Rush line.
